HEARTHWANE · CAPTAIN
human, 51
Swore the Watch's oath at twenty-one and lit her first lamp the same night.
THEIR STORY
Captain Morrow swore the Wayward Watch's oath at twenty-one and lit her first lamp the same night. Once, when the keep's money stopped coming, she kept the lamps lit from her own pay for a whole winter. She is broad and weathered, in a patched green cloak with a copper road-token. She has walked Kestrel Road from the Grove gate to the snow line forty times. Since she lost a warden to the Hush below a dark lamp, she wipes every lamp glass she passes with her sleeve, clean or not.
